where whimsical, fun and unique bottle jackets come alive!
I come from a family of entrepreneurs and I love to create whether it be just for fun or the family. Ever since I learned how to use a sewing machine, my interest in creating fun and stylish things have kept me motivated and inspired.
My story started during the Covid shutdown and I was stuck at home looking for things to do. While cleaning closets, I found a vintage, bottle jacket of a Russian Cossack I had saved from my mother. He brought back fond, childhood memories of him standing ready with his balalaika to play a tune at family gatherings reminding me of my family heritage. He was definitely showing his age and needed a makeover so I just decided to make a new one. I had so much fun recreating him that I was inspired to create more fun bottle jackets.
I love wine so I decided I needed to make a sommelier. My design for the sommelier came from classic wine images and my own imagination. He was great fun to create and bring to life and I was hooked to bring more character alive. My inspiration for more bottle jackets comes my favorite things, real and fictional characters and the possibilities are endless! I can’t wait to make the next one.
